We sincerely apologize for the canceling of all of our tour dates. It is something we deeply regret. However, due to internal discord and irreconcilable differences of ambition we are unable to continue as a touring entity at this time.
In short: there is something of a civil war going on between the members of The Civil Wars. This period will be remembered as the War Between the Civil Wars.
Me, I’m going to name my next band Budokan, so that when we finally play that famous stadium in Japan, we’ll have the most meta album title in history: “Budokan at Budokan.”
