I hope you had oatmeal for breakfast today because it’s the birthday of Wilford Brimley, who is 85 today.
Today in 1964, the Warren Commission publicly releases its report on the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Suffice to say its conclusions did not convince the entire public. Here’s a bit of the CBS News special coverage of the report, via the National Archives’ YouTube channel:
I just discovered the Muppets Memory Twitter feed, which tells me that Prince did a parody of “Hee-Haw” with Gonzo the Great? You have to think this would have been at least a full chapter in Prince’s memoir, had he lived:

Finally, an extremely Wisconsin piece of good news: a tornado damaged homes in Chippewa County and threw the items inside all over the place. Fortunately, this guy found one of his most prized possessions: his autographed jersey of Brett Favre.
